In 1989, Dale Willard started the company as Willard Meat Brokers Ltd. Initially, the company had two employees and provided brokerage services to Canadian domestic packinghouses.

Under his stewardship, Willard Meat Brokers has been transformed from a meat brokerage firm to a full-fledged international meat trading company that buys and sells meat products on a global scale, and together with Midtown Meats, employs over 170 people and has annual sales exceeding $70 Million. In 2000, the company's name was officially changed to Willard Meats International Ltd. to recognize this transformation.

Dale and his trading team have built the company by providing excellent customer service, sourcing quality products and providing customers with innovative trading alternatives. He is constantly looking for new market opportunities for both the company and his clients.

His vision is to build Willard Meats International Ltd. into the world leader in meat trading and fresh pork processing.

Dale brings to the company over 24 years experience in all aspects of the meat industry from packinghouse to meat processing and marketing. He has given back to the community over the years, with both financial support and volunteering his own time to a number of community organizations.
